Just a brief note

moving-sale

The packing continues! Last weekend we had a moving sale. Saturday was not so good. Sunday was however much better. We got rid of alot of things, mostly the big things. I still have a desk and big picture to sell and some dishes but all and all it was good. So with the long weekend ahead I will be buying some big plastic containers. These we will be using to pack clothes, food and other articles in. When we get to the land we will use these to store supplies and books as space will be limited. We also have to contact immigration to see how things will go for Bill moving back and bringing things into the U.S. This is all a process and we thank the Lord for His generous blessings to us. Lord willing things will all come together and we will be on our way at the end of May.

An aside:  I noticed on Saturday that a robin was building her nest right outside our door above the rafters. We had a bit of a conversation, a she said something and I said something neither understanding a word, yet I’m sure we both went away feeling a bit puzzled and a bit blessed or at least I did.

Stay tuned for an up coming and very important blog!

  1. Hi Debbie,

Had been thinking of and meaning to ask how your sale went. Thanks for sharing here how it went. Praise God, for the good sale results.

Will be thinking of you both and praying that the rest of your packing journey goes smoothly, and that God puts in your mind what you’ll need most once there. Buy good heavy bins! That TX sun is tough on them, right Josie? (something we talked about more than once last fall)

Looking forward to your next important blog entry. Debbie.

  2. Debbie,
I remember those garage sales! We had three of them and I took several loads to the local charity drop off center. It is strange to see it all go but then again you know that you are being obedient to the path the Lord has given you. Can’t wait to see you! Got to go, time to clean out your motor home!! God Bless, Danielle

  3. How exciting for you. Glad you at least had nice weather. It has been fluctuating between rain and snow here for about the last week.

    God bless your days…
