I have just found your blog via my sweet friend Susan’s blog. Even though I have just begun to read your story, I feel like there is a part that is reading my own story as well.
I am starting your blog from the very beginning and I read as you described the ostentatiousness of the homes around you and the feeling of not belonging to this world, especially when you were at the mall.
God-willing! My husband and I are planning on homesteading upon his retirement in just a few years. In fact we are planning a trip to visit Susan and her husband this summer. We want to see if we are able to handle the Texas summer heat.
I look forward to reading more of your story and maybe even getting to meet you as well.
